We are pleased to introduce Rhonda Olsen as the tournament director for the 2026 BC Junior All Native Tournament and Bandits Basketball Fest.
Olsen is a coach, player, and community-driven leader whose life and career are rooted in basketball, youth development, and Indigenous community building.
A former collegiate athlete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, she has coached at the secondary and provincial levels, including leading teams to a couple City Championships and serving as an assistant coach with the Basketball BC U14 Girls Provincial Team.
Olsen has also remained an active player, most notably with the Indigenous team All My Relations, where sport, culture, and community intersect. Beyond basketball, she has supported youth leadership initiatives such as Girls Who LEAP and currently plays with an Indigenous VanCity Ladies Masters team.
Professionally, Olsen is the Team Lead for Project Services and Procurement at Maven Consulting Limited, who partner with First Nations and economic development organizations across BC and Northern Canada, and is deeply committed to empowering youth, celebrating Indigenous culture, and leading with purpose.
